Silverio (JJ) Aquino
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
B. Occth, M. Phys, Sports Physiotherapy Level 1 (APA), Dry Needling
JJ brings a genuine enthusiasm for helping people move better and live more actively to his practice, with a particular interest in knee injuries including ACL rehabilitation as well as shoulder pain, neck and lower back conditions, and tendon pain — helping clients at every level of activity return to what they love with confidence.
Growing up with a love of sport, JJ has competed as a runner, track athlete and basketball player, and uses his clinical experience working alongside athletes in Rugby League, Football (soccer) and Australian Rules Football to facilitate his practice - giving him a deep appreciation for what it takes to get people back to competing.
JJ combines hands-on manual therapy, exercise and providing people with an understanding of their injuries. JJ's approach is grounded in listening, education and collaboration to understanding each person's goals, building a clear path forward, and providing clients with the opportunity to take an active role in their own recovery.
Outside the clinic, you'll find JJ out on a run, catching up on a good book, heading to the beach for a swim, or settling in with a great coffee.
