Natasha has a great understanding of how the body moves and how it is able to heal itself. Not only is she a physiotherapist, but a qualified professional pilates instructor and former ex-elite AUS gymnast. At the age of 29, Natasha was diagnosed with breast cancer, however this experience has built her resilience and appreciation of life. True to her nature, her brush with cancer has allowed her to cultivate and nurture a unique, caring and empathic approach to her practice that not only takes from the current scientific literature but also from her own experiences in natural and organic remedies. With such experience behind her, she is currently offering her services as a physiotherapist and Pilates instructor at the Kay Van Norton Centre for Wellbeing – a cancer and wellness centre adjacent to the Mater Hospital, North Sydney. Natasha also runs weekly pilates classes at Pro-Form Physiotherapy to help her patients restore balance, flexibility, mobility and core control for chronic lower back pain, and pre and post natal.
Natasha’s forte is to not only help you become physically stronger, but inspire you to develop the right mental and emotional capacity to deal with your situation using her knowledge as a holistic health advisor and NLP practitioner. Outside the clinic, Natasha enjoys eating nourishing food for the soul and even has her own baking business!
